The Track & Color Matching

“What do the tracks look like during the day?”

It's the question we hear most. The short answer: your lights live inside a slim, color-matched aluminum channel that tucks under the eave and nearly disappears when the lights are off. You get a stunning, fully-programmable light show at night and a clean, untouched-looking roofline by day.

Same Home, Day & Night

During the day the color-matched track blends into the trim. After dark, the same track delivers a crisp, even outline of light in any color you choose.

Daytime, lights off. The color-matched track blends into the fascia, barely noticeable from the ground.

Nighttime, lights on. The same track lights the entire roofline with a crisp, even, fully-programmable glow.

How the Track Actually Works

This isn't a strip of tape or a string of bulbs. Modern permanent lighting is a professional-grade aluminum channel with addressable LED points seated inside, mounted discreetly under your roofline. That's what makes it both nearly invisible by day and dramatic at night.

A Color-Matched Aluminum Channel

The heart of the system is a slim, powder-coated aluminum track (not plastic strip or adhesive tape). It mounts up under your eave, soffit, or fascia and is finished to match your trim so it reads as part of the house.

Individually-Addressable LED Points

Seated inside the channel are downward-facing RGB LED points. Each one is independently controllable, so you get millions of colors, crisp warm whites, gradients, and animations, not a single fixed color.

Hidden, Weather-Sealed Wiring

All wiring and connectors are concealed inside the aluminum channel. The LEDs face down and out of direct sun, which protects them from the fading and clouding that ruin cheap strip lights.

Fitted to Your Rooflines

The track is cut and profiled to follow your specific roofline, whether you have a flat soffit, an angled eave, or no soffit at all, so the finished run looks built-in rather than tacked on.

Matched to Your Home's Color

The aluminum channel is powder-coated to match your trim. Alongside dozens of standard finishes, we can custom color-match to your exact fascia or gutter color, so the track reads as part of the house. Here are some of the most popular finishes.

White
Almond
Sandstone
Clay
Bronze
Brown
Charcoal
Black

Each track section is finished to match the trim it mounts against, so whether your home has white, tan, bronze, brown, or black trim, the channel blends right in. Need an exact match? We'll color-match the powder coat to your home.

Why It Disappears in Daylight

Three things make the track nearly invisible when it's off.

Finished to Match Your Trim

The channel is powder-coated in the color that best matches your fascia, soffit, or gutter. With dozens of standard finishes plus custom color matching, it blends into the trim instead of standing out.

Tucked Into the Shadow Line

The track mounts up under the lip of the roof edge, in the natural shadow line of the eave, so from the ground it sits out of your direct line of sight.

Low-Profile by Design

The channel is slim, roughly the width of a finger, with no bulky housing or dangling cord. In daylight most people never notice it is there.

Curb Appeal, Kept

Your home should look great around the clock, not just when the lights are on. Because the track is color-matched and tucked into the eave, your daytime curb appeal stays exactly the way you want it. No bulky strips, no visible cords, no seasonal takedown.
